This is a design of a native garden on a farm in Kangaroo Valley. The scope was to delete the lawn space and create a native haven for our beautiful pollinators, whilst also leading visitors to the correct parking spaces (which isn’t always straightforward on farms) and the front door of the house – without being too formal. We also had to allow access to the septic tank without it being too obvious.
Through plant selection and the use of local sandstone, we were able to achieve these goals and really frame some of this property’s beautiful valley vistas.
